Tujuana McGee is an associate attorney at Gibbs Travis PLLC. Prior to joining the firm, she was a law clerk for the Honorable Judges Melvin Priester, Sr. and Houston Patton in Hinds County Court in Jackson, MS. While attending law school, Tujuana completed an externship with the Honorable Judge Daniel P. Jordan in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi. She has extensive experience in research and writing.
Tujuana was admitted to practice law in Mississippi in 2012. She is admitted to practice in all Mississippi state courts and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi. Tujuana is a member of the Mississippi Bar Association, Capital Area Bar Association and the Magnolia Bar Association.
Tujuana received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama, in 2006. She then went on to earn a Master’s degree in Public Administration, graduating Magna Cum Laude, from the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, Georgia, in 2007. Tujuana graduated Cum Laude from Mississippi College Law School in Jackson, MS in 2012. While at MC Law, she was a member of the Moot Court Board. While on Moot Court she served as External Advocacy Chair and was inducted into the National Order of Barristers. Tujuana was also selected to serve as a pupil in the Charles Clark Inns of Court. She was an academic scholarship recipient during her time at MC Law.
Aside from her professional duties, Tujuana enjoys volunteering, traveling, reading, and spending quality time with her family. An excellent addition to our firm, Tujuana is energetic and prepared to provide outstanding service to our clients.
